The 2013 Chevrolet Corvette, Grand Sport, Z06, ZR1, and 427 Convertible

2013 Corvette 427 Convertible Collector Edition
2013 marked the final year of the legendary C6 generation, and Chevrolet celebrated with the special 427 Convertible Collector Edition. This exclusive model featured a hand-built, 505-horsepower LS7 engine in a convertible body for the first time, offering the track-focused power of the Z06 in open-air form. The 427 represented a fitting tribute to Corvette's racing heritage as the C6 concluded its nine-year production run. The complete 2013 lineup included seven distinct models: base Coupe and Convertible, Grand Sport variants in both body styles, Z06, ZR1, and the new 427 Convertible Collector Edition. Production totaled 13,466 units, with the Grand Sport Coupe remaining the most popular variant at 4,908 units. Black continued as the preferred exterior color. On February 28, 2013, the final C6 Corvette—a white 427 Convertible—rolled off the Bowling Green assembly line, ending an era and paving the way for the all-new mid-engine C8 generation.
